Parents

Our school believes that every member of our school community is an important human being and their individual and collective contributions to school are highly valued. All family members contribute to a child's education. Their community attitudes, values, organisation and practices influence and impact on our partnership in education.
Join us at assemblies, special events, sports and open days and see what is happening at our school.
Special events – we are always keen to receive support and assistance with special events such as the School Fete, Trivia Night and Laptopathon.
Help in the classroom - there is always the opportunity to help in some way with hearing children read, assisting with small groups or even joining the students on an excursion. Maybe you have a special skill that you can share with the class. Talk to your child’s class teacher.
Parent managed head lice program - receive training to help check students for head lice on a regular basis.
School Canteen - help Lyn in the canteen Wednesday to Friday
School Library – help our librarian cover books, shelve books or do a stocktake.
Breakfast Club – help our students by making toast and cutting up fruit before school. Breakfast Club operates from the canteen and starts at about 8.30 each morning. Please contact Sue White if you can help.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
All parents or community members who assist at school must sign a confidentiality agreement. A Working With Children Card is required for parents attending excursions and camps. Parents assisting in the classroom are highly encouraged to have a Working With Children Check. These forms can be obtained from the local post office or school office and the Principal or Assiatant Principal can certify documents for you - just make an appointment.
